Good Morning Shake

A few months ago I became a proud owner of a juicer. I’m still bewildered by how amazing this machine is. It can fit a day’s worth of vitamins into a little glass, and if you mix things right it will be one of the most delicious drinks you have ever had – what could be better?

The only downside is that I go through an awful lot of, and I mean kilos of fruit, each week. After a few months of experimenting I have developed my favorites combinations, and this recipe is irreplaceable in the morning if you haven’t had a particularly good night’s sleep and need a kick to get you going.

To make 1 large glass of juice you’ll need:

2 small carrots
2 small apples
1 pear
1 celery stick
2 cm ginger root

Just juice all of the ingredients with a juicer one after the other. Give it a good shake, and serve over ice if you wish and drink straight away. I guarantee you will wake up!
